Just happen to read the news this morning and saw this video which involved a person in a 370z driving aggressively and waving a gun to the other driver who brake checked on him and the other driver shot a couple shots at the 370z driver..

What happened happened. I wasn't there, so I can't judge. But why in the heck would you post this on YouTube? This is a prosecutors wet dream.

Oh yeah, I know. I'm not blaming you. I just marvel at the stupidity of others these days. People buy firearms, train and then don't know what to do after they are forced to use them. Call the police / emergency services, call a lawyer and call the USCCA (hopefully you have a policy with them). Then shut up and keep whatever evidence you have (such as video footage) to yourself until you get legal council.

From what I read the truck driver brandished the weapon first so the lesson here is DON'T PULL IT OUT IF you ain't gonna use it.

But yeah our car is accessible to many now. Kids are buying them and posting YT vids going on like "it's sooooooooo siiiiiick".

allot of cars, even GTR's are becoming this way. Kids these days are cool with taking out a 100k auto-loans with 20k total interest... then maxing their credit cards for parts and paying the minimal balance every month.

And then they want to know who is going to pay their college loans.

Just because someone cuts you off and is driving like a moron doesn't give you the right to pull your gun. Much less, shoot through the dang windshield like an idiot. This is the guy that gives responsible gun owners a bad name.

Read the Z was tailgating, the truck driver brake checked him and when the Z passed him he stuck a gun out the window then that's when the truck driver shot through his window. Said "it was in self-defense".

The “good ole USA” never ceases to amaze me, here in NZ when someone cuts us off we wave a middle finger and yell expletives through the windshield, makes us feel just as good, saves on windscreen repairs, and stops us ending in in front of a judge...or dead.

I seen this on YouTube a few days ago and thought of the community (the370z). Crazy! Always exciting to see a 370z from a far but nothing cool about the shoot out.

not a fan of this whole incident, but I can see it's the truck driver who drives like an a$$hole thus initial the consequence.

Of cos I am not a fan of the reaction of that Z driver, but this case is an a$$hole vs another a$$hole. :wtf2:

also just realized this in florida where "stand your ground" applies...i think

this kind of cr4p would not fly in la...you'd be arrested same day

nonetheless, so unnecessary to escalate something that could have been deescalated so quickly

After the 'flip off' on the highway The truck overtook the Z at 86mph according to his camera. The driver of the truck had just joined in 'mutual combat' and has no protection claiming 'stand your ground' or even 'self defense'. He joined the fight willingly and can expect charges eventually
