You say it's worth it. So you're saying you would shell out the money? If someone gave me the money to buy that car I still wouldn't buy it.

It's not worth it to basically everyone. But that doesn't mean he won't be able to sell it; it only takes one person who sees a different value than everyone else.

tough sale. basically impossible - the only person that would buy it would be someone with that much disposable income, loves our specific cars, and doesn't want to built it themselves. What is the venn diagram of customers fitting all of those? Tiny if it exists

If you have an extra $70K lying around . . . are you buying a built Z? and wouldn't you want to build it yourself to your personal spec?

Or . . . buy a different car?

Ahhhh that’s it, couldn’t remember the name for the longest, thanks! That Z was on my Z34 Mount Rushmore.

Like in perspective, that bats*** crazy V12 Top Secret MK.IV Supra only sold for $80k.

For all we know it could be one of those cases where he doesn't want to truly sell it (despite the listed motive). I feel like we've all been in those kinds of scenarios before where we're in between. Kinda like "well I tried to sell it but aww man aww geez no one's buying it so I'll just keep it" and quiet smile.

There is a YTer Stangmode that bought a GT500 and with the pandemic - he was finally at a point where the smart move was to try to sell it. I believe (don't quote me on this) was he was asking for $100k - and this was a used car bc he had added some miles to it; put it up on eBay and before you knew it - it hit the reserve and he sold it; personally I was like - 'no way this gets sold bc he was already asking for too much'. Granted whether he actually got the 100k - not sure but he sold it. So, I guess it only takes one - but yeah, no way I would spend that much on a modded vehicle when one can get a clean GTR or even look at the new C8.

the market for mustangs is probably alot better than the market for Zs, generally

Good. **** that dude. Couldn't happen to a bigger piece of ****. As much money as he's cost this community by convincing buyers to support Sam and Bobby, he deserves to have the car crammed up his ***. Sideways.

I'm certain he has 100+ into his car but people are not going to pay for the R and D efforts that were done by GTM. 1000hp isn't that crazy these days.

I bet he could get 45-55k... Not sure he would get much more than that. But then again, there are idiots with money. On the right day he could hit that jackpot lever.

Per his ad, he’s got 200 plus in this. Sounds about right.

fify

Well, what ever. 200 is way too rich for me. My build is 1/4 that price and I feel silly at times. The major difference is getting stuck with a shop bill vs doing it hands on. he did the shop build path at the start and then took it over himself because GTM was sucking all his money away (just like they did everyone else for their GTM turbo grifting scheme).

The GTM situation still pisses me off and I didn't even do the buy in.

37zeroZ 06-17-2020 10:46 PM

I made a $1 offer. Lets see if I get it. :tiphat:

That wing is LOL!!!

Zyonara91 06-23-2020 03:50 PM

No one wants to buy car like that. It's because all those parts are more of a want than a need and they won't appeal to a majority of buyers. Simple.

I would do a part out, he has this forum at his disposal and should just do a part out and take the car back to stock as possible. Once stock, sell it.

Fun fact, you will never make money back of a car unless its a unique, limited production which has eventually ceased production. Best of luck on that sale.

OptionZero 06-23-2020 04:46 PM

he should add a number plate

thats what made all those Type R's valuable

cv129 06-23-2020 07:25 PM
