You guys are acting like he broke down, or something. He was pissed, just like you would have been, had you scratched your Z. He didn't jump off a building.
As someone who has hydroplaned off the highway before, that "please don't hit the wall!" chant while you're sliding backwards sounded quite familiar. |
well he is not really losing money as he will make a claim thru his insurance and that might raise it some but he is really only out the deductable. Now im sure Nissan has made sure they cancel his warrenty for tracking it.

Also, what's the deal. So the guy spun out on a track, heck some guys here spun out the z on the STREET! so he is a bit pissed at damaging his new car, who wouldn't be? who doesn't get pissed off if they drop a new blackberry or digital camera, or if a shopping cart dented their brand new car, even if its a camry or something. |
a bit harsh arnt we? lets see how you react to slamming your Z into a tire wall...

Bottom line is, if you are on track you are 100% responsible for any damage you may incur. At some events you may be able to purchase separate declared value track day insurance for a fee. |
Wow, should I be impressed with myself in that I knew exactly where he was going to lose it?
I could tell he hit that corner too hot, and didn't account for the elevation drop... |

Good for track days, though you may have to wait for a major downpour/tornado like weather, or, snow on the ground. |
