Hatch Carpet
The dealer threw in a hatch carpet for me. Since its installation though, it has continued to fit poorly. There are rolls and ridges and it seems to have been cut and measured inexactly. I've tried to cover it with heavy books overnight to make it lay more smoothly but it continues to be a detraction rather than a nice touch, appearance wise. I don't need this blanket for practical purposes as my hatch area will never see any cargo other than an occasional overnight bag, etc.The Z logo is nice but the carpet's fit is terrible. The thinner carpet that is standard with the car is a perfect fit and looks so much nicer for that reason. But the blanket is a $100 item and I'd like to find a way to be more pleased with it. Has anyone found a way?

Take it out of the cold garage! Put it in the warmest room in the house. Let it sit for a day or two and gravity will do it's thing.

i put mine under my mattress for a few days... it worked but still curls up in the top right corner! its pretty annoying.. one of the vendors also sells a trunk carpet with a bigger Z logo that seems to fit well but I am not a fan of the gigantic Z they use on it

I really don't care for the trunk carpet with the Z since I also got the regular one. I will remove one of them later on.

Maybe the weather is the difference but I also just threw heavy books on mine and let it sit a few days. Turned out as flat as could be.

Mine's in the basement somewhere. Thing weighs a ton for something useless.

i was just flipping mine every few days. although it's not an exact mirror image. it's mostly straight now. i'll steam it or something later.

After a few months mine just flattened on it's own. It comes tightly rolled so it is bound to curl for a while.
