Seat belt light

I searched but to no avail, took my passenger seat out for the drags last weekend, plugged it back up and bolted it down and now the seat belt light continuously flashes, do I have to take it back to the dealership to have them clear it, or will a simple ecu reset take care of it?

Have you tried to disconnect the neg. on the batt. to see if it resets?

i'll give that a shot in the morning and see if that fixes the issue.

Is it the seatbelt light on techometer or airbag light on the front dash that flashes?

the seatbelt light on the tachometer, its starting to annoy the piss out of me.

before you disconnect the bat. Look for the window reset procedure on here somewhere, just in case they decide not to close properly.

Just wanted to re-visit this because I still havent taken it into the dealer to have it turned off, does anyone else have a possible solution that I can do on my own to turn it off? Already reset the battery, to no avail. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I was guessing that a reset wouldn't make any difference... I bet that the connector (whichever one contains the wires going to the seatbelt sensor) is not properly connected.

you would think, but all 3 plugs have different male/female ends, so its not exactly rocket science to figure out what goes where.
