nice cars and DBaggery

So I am driving to get my oil change and my dealer is 60 miles away or so i normally enjoy the drive.

First cool car I seen was a super bright red mustang with big white stripes, this car can be seen a mile away. When he goes to pass me, he speeds up like crazy gets about 100 feet infront of me and hits his breaks real hard to slow down then merges infront of me, only to decide that the lane is to slow with in 5 seconds and merges back into the fast lane and drives away at normal speed. I did get to hear his v8 roar which was cool i guess.

Second car was a Porsche boxster and i was very slowly passing it due to I was on cruise control and nobody wanted to pass. As I was about to pass it and all of a sudden it leaped forward like a rocket, he either down shifted or pedal to the metal. Then he slowed back down and I passed, never leaving cruise control.

Third car was a Lexus IS F in bright blue, he was weaving in and out of traffic, left lane, right lane, left lane, right lane like CRAZY! Looked very dangerous but he was doing it like there was no tomorrow.

I didnt see any one in a civic behaving like this hehe.

That Porsche move is a classic around here. They must have that in the owner's manual, or something. I don't get it from Boxsters, though, I get it from Turbos and Carrera 4Ss. Most Mustangs in Houston are driven by women who don't partake of the baggery, it seems, and IS-Fs are really rare here.

Japanese performance cars are under-represented here in general. I see many Corvettes of all grades and of course, Mercs, BMWs and Porsches. The BMW and Porsche drivers are the worst DBs

Just to support the above posts in a general way, I was in ATL and had a 993 Turbo try to race me with the same antics...

Nothing quickly humbles the turbocharged Porsche like a well-tuned motorcycle.

Touché.

Having owned an R1 and YZF750R, I can fully relate.

I love the Porsche owners in Houston, oddly there are a lot of Boxster owners. Not saying the car is bad/slow, but they drive like they have a GT3 sometimes, whew!

I just dont look at the d-bag drivers on the highway so they dont feel the need to show off. When I ignore them it pisses them off more seeing they cant show off.

I only speed up like the Porsche did when a truck is coming near me...lol
rock chips and whatever

Never expected a$$holeness from Porsche owners, they're usually old and retired. I'd expect it from a Mustang/Camaro/Civic owner...

I usually do the same. However, sometimes I actually like the car and will admire it. I'll give a  if they deserve it.

lol... d-bags don't discriminate. They come in all shapes and sizes, and so the cars are no different.

If I see those people I avoid them. In my RSX I acted differently but now I feel like this car is so fragile especially being red, any kind of blemish in the paint from a rock would annoy the hell out of me. The funny thing is that when I had my rsx the people who would try to race me would would be integras and civics and tiburons and dodge chargers and cars among that class. Once I got the Z I felt relived as the first few days I passed cars matching the discription of the D bags who would always try to get me to race them and all they did was stare at my car. Then on the 3rd day I had my car this crazy modded 2002 NSX rolls up next to me adn does the same crap that the other cars did. Things will never change no matter what you drive. I need to start saving up for an SSC Ultimate Aero :happydance:
