$500 below invoice or lifetime powertrain warranty?
This dealership is selling me a 2010 Z base sports auto at invoice for about $32799. I offered $32250. they said if i buy at invoice they will give me a lifetime powertrain warranty for as long as i own it. At the price i offered, no lifetime warranty.
I don't plan to own a Z for more than 7-8 years. so do i go for the lifetime powertrain or $32250? |
Both. Play hardball.

Lifetime warranty for $459? Small price to pay for piece of mind if you do keep the car for several years.

You better get that one in writing from them. Nissan includes a 5yr powertrain warranty. That means the dealer is going to cover any powertrain warranty costs thereafter. It sounds fishy to me. Just take the $500 off or aim for both as Frost said.

i say get it very specifically in writing, and if for some reason they cant produce that then just go with your $500 below.
