Nissan dinosaur sports cars get kool car renders.

I like it. Proves, Nissan made no effort to keep the Z alive and thriving. They dont deserve our patronage. It's pretty disgusting that Nissan went from building every single car they had with a sport version that was TRULY sporty to these weak cars they are selling now.

Meh... and I even like most hatches. The problem is they aren't even a concept. Just someone's rendering with no relation to Nissan. Hard to get excited.

To me, the reworked 370z looks pretty good. But the same applied to the gtr looks a bit odd.

Nah - I'm good.

I have seen a few shooting brakes, usually Corvettes, and they just look ...bastardized. These 2 are pretty much the same.
What first attracted me to the 350 and 370Z was that compound curve from the A pillar to the back of the hatch. Changing that curve won't make me a convert.
Just for curiosity, is there something magic about the shooting brake shape, or is it just cosmetics?

Yeah, the GTR is kinda wack. But the Z looks great. That coulda been another version of Z they could've sold just to spark interest when they saw the vert wasnt doing shyt

Sign me up for the Z shooting brake conversion. I just need to win the lottery to pull it off.

A lot of people forget that economics is the biggest factor for any company. How practical is a Z for a family of 5? How many 100k+ cars are you going to sell in a GTR? Sell 50-60k Z's a year vs 100-300k of every other model a year. Bread & butter keeps the doors open because few are the companies that have an endless supply of $$$$$ to burn.

I'm not beholden to any brand, I buy what I like & keep it for decades. I would not be interested in either rendition. $.02

I love the shooting brake design.

This may be the most beautiful car ever IMO

I dont forget... I really think car companies are numbing out cars as part of a bigger global picture. Cost has nothing to do with it. It has everything to do with turning men globally into soy boy, bytch babies...
They're castrating anything that gets your testosterone pumping in the name of toxic masculinity. We'll just stop right here on this note.
