Could it really be?

Car buzz has spotted the next gen Z test mule, still hard to believe.

It's happening for sure and it will be the 3.0 tt.
Don't expect any major change though. It's the same car, with a different engine and some extra features (hopefully CarPlay :D

Zyonara91 10-29-2019 09:04 PM

I wonder what's under the hood. I would die if the body stays the same and all we get is a new engine (I know they would not troll us like that).

JARblue 10-29-2019 09:09 PM

Nissan is going with the same plan as the Juke: 40% power loss for the next gen Z :driving:

oh they would :rofl2:
and I'm telling you it's the 3.0 tt from q50/60

CRiZO 10-29-2019 09:30 PM

I don't think it's a Nissan vehicle, but I'd love to be wrong. Just looks like some dude out for a track day in his salvaged Z.

It is the average consumers fault out car shopping how don’t have much knowledge for the future of the car market being electric/hybrid even sports cars ouch just look at the BMW i8. I like how Nissan is trying to keep everyone in the dark about the new Z35 model they know how the car industry works.

the 370Z will stay as is. as far as the additional holes, Nissan is probably testing out a new method to keeping the engine cooler in conjunction with the oil cooler.

Gotta take car magazines with a grain of salt. They are mostly speculation - as with shows about aliens. It can be interesting (and they do get things right every now and then), but speculation none the less. A Ouija board is just as accurate.

Decals were only for the 50th anniversary.

THIS TIME ITS PAINT! MAJOR UPGRADE!

I don’t think Nissan is putting too much thought into replacement vehicles at the moment, as they’re still in recovery mode from the inside scandals. Any plans/projects have probably been suspended. And I’m thinking the current Z will be in production for another few years. But that’s just my opinion.

Does anyone feel that the 3.0 TT will be inherently less reliable than the VQ37VHR? (Turbo vs N/A).

Have they been having problems with it? It's been in production for 4-5 years now

I would hope a new modern production engine lasts 4-5 years. I am curious if these will last 10-15 years easily like VQ engines.

I’ve been mulling over Topgunz a/a supercharger kit and keep asking myself the same question. It just seems like asking a lot of something that wasn’t designed for FI.

I’m thinking of buying a beater and mess with that instead of my DD.

I just realized I totally misread your post. I think the 3.0 will be fine.

Not any less reliable than the 3.8 TT in the GTR
