Alarm goes off when...

My neighbours husband came at my door telling me every morning his wife drives off in her car my alarm goes off.

Situation is like this, I live in an apartment complex and we have an underground parking garage. Her car is parked like 60 feet away from my car. Now her husband isnt sure if its when she actually drives off or when she uses her key to unlock the doors, she isnt home atm till later tonight.

She doesnt even drive anything heavy, its a Mercedes SLK.

There are quite a few other cars parked much closer to mine and when they drive off nothing happens. I have my other car parked right next to it and I havent had anything like it before.

So my guess is it has something to do with the radio frequency of her key? Not sure if that is possible.

Anyone has any idea what this could be? Also does anyone know if there is an easy way to dissable the alarm. I dont really mind to do that cause at home my car is behind 2 locked doors. However it has to be easy enough so I can enable it again when I park it somewhere else.

Thanks

Tell him it doesn't happen when anyone else drives by your car. Tell him to get his wife's car fixed.

honestly never heard of such a problem!

Perhaps she is trying to nick your car after realising what her SLK should have been...!

I don't think I've had this issue, and the car that's next to me is a Porsche 911 that's heavily modded (I think by RUF). Its EXTREMELY loud and will cause some other cars to blip their alarms....
