Urgent: Why did these appear on my wheels?

Normally more eloquent. But drove 1500 miles today and am tired AF. Those ridges on either side of the wheel weight in those pics. They were not there before today. All four wheels look similar to those pics. Far from home, now thinking my wheels are going to fail on me. Can anyone explain? https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...9ecc0e0c16.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...c720242e5a.jpg

Are you in Colorado, aka mushroom country :yum:
They look factory to me ...... they're too perfect to be deterioration
Question: is it on all 4 or just one or two ?

cooltoy 07-25-2019 04:19 PM

He said all four.

Chances of all four wheels failing at the same time - nil.

looks like dirt from the road, maybe some brake dust (But the factory brakes aren't that bad)

As cooltoy said, forged Rays factory wheels aren't going to crumble on you

if you are worried you can go to any tire shop and have the wheels checked out

Possible it was there, and didn't get noticed?
Hose it down and spray it with soapy water. No bubbles, no problems.

Those ridges were always there. You just noticed them with the dust.

It's not gay, if you THINK it's a woman. Ok then.
