That's Canadia dollars though.

Also true. + shipping parts from states through a local supplier...

The shop added 1.5hr labor to install the insulated line too but only charged once for 4 clutch fluid change due to several defective bleed nips.

Total labor was 5 or 6 hr iirc. Not a diy job

For $6k CAD I think it will last about 5 minutes before someone bought it, fixed the CSC, and flipped it.

If he was local I'd have already done just that.

No. Be a coolio and save up longer for a C8.

You'll have a front engine rwd, and a mid engine rwd.

Wife can't complain. They're different.

Except there's no manual transmission in the C8, if that's his preference.

I paid 5 for a really clean, garage kept 2013’ Sport/Touring w/122k, clean title & what is thought to potentially have head gasket seep :ugh2:
Car runs great & haven’t took time to troubleshoot it myself; as no plans to tear another one apart & fix up in the yard....it’s gotta wait :tiphat:
6k sounds like a bargain/ as mine is going under the knife this winter anyway...so wasn’t concerned with the potential issue it had- just wanted a clean chassis

And running 3 progressively more expensive brake fluid through the clutch reservoir because the bleeder sxrew was fk up.

So you took it to a shop and they charged you for three bottles of brake fluid because the bleeder wouldn't seat, but they didn't just fix the problem which would've been less than an extra bottle of fluid?

It is a $1000 - $2000 dollar investment, a one time investment at that. Get it done, keep the car. Unless you are in a financial struggle, I don't see a legit reason to sell. Corvette? Great car at the price range especially with the new C8. Why don't you keep the Z for a few more years, then allocate the money to a C8.
