Eh, you don't want to be a bitter owner.
Almost no car on the market is bad if you like it. You're entitled to like what you want, for whatever reason, and pay what you feel is worth it. Not much of a point in going out of your way to convince someone else who doesn't like it. Don't be like those 86 owners that literally complain about other cars like ours having too much power. I mean talk about reaching. |
I did agree with him with the interior but that was never the reason I bought mine and it's never the reason why I buy any car really.
Yes Nissan clearly doesn't care about the Z anymore but at least they put their best effort without any help unlike some companies (f*** you Toyota) which I can respect. I was going to get one of the cars he mentioned (2017 Camaro SS) but still chose the Z over the Camaro because it put a bigger smile on my face and not every person from here to Bangkok has one, V8 or not. Also, I like the fact that if you have a 2013-2018, you literally cannot tell the difference so everyone assumes they are always brand new cars when they rarely see them lol. Anyway, people should stop comparing it to the Mustang Camaros etc because they aren't the same class. It's a bargain compared to the TT and BMW Roadsters or Cayman which who are it's targets, not the muscle cars. |
Too many Youtoobers pass themselves off as experts. Who cares what this guy's opinion is anyway when ours is what really matters. So many appreciate what the Z is and cannot wait to pass my car along to my kids or someday, any grand kid who might be interested.

I wouldn’t believe he attempts to pass himself off as an expert by any means. If anything I consider him an average Joe often times giving entertaining reviews, primarily focusing on interesting aspects of vehicles or commenting on high expensive ridiculous or mundane add ons can be. We could split hairs all day about his rating on style of the Z, but in the end he still hones in on the horrible state of affairs with the Z. Cancel it or replace it Nissan. I wonder how much it would differ if he tested a sport package manual.

Renault borrowed the VQ35 and maybe the VQ37 to put in their cars but Nissan never borrowed parts designed by frenchies to put in a traditional Japanese car. Mr. K would be rolling in his grave if they did. |
I was simply pointing out that Nissan and Renault have worked together in car development. It's very common. Although that relationship is certainly not as egregious as the Supra badging as you have pointed out.

But back to the 370Z, I honestly think they shouldn't offer any new model years. They need to take 3 years off perfecting the next Z and offer a final edition dedicated to Mr. K and the fact the Z has been around for 50 years with turbos from the GTR and only 1,000 units No bloody stickers on a base model and jacking the price up. The next Z shouldn't have a Nismo version unless it actually means something more than a body kit and they should offer a naturally aspirated close to 400 horsepower (it is possible because a number of you are pushing those numbers with aftermarket parts), and a turbo version or twin turbo version. They should make the next one with rear seats but dedicated enthusiast ones with two seats and offer no roadster versions. |

My review of any review is that all reviews are crap. Especially ones of products one can test before purchase. In this case, you either like the vehicle or you don't. I particularly like the 370Z for some of the reasons he doesn't. Well, what a shock, opinions vary! And I have to point out, money can be made by playing the contrarian.
