Most dangerous cars 2019
most dangerous cars 2019 study The Z is # 7 . Surprised Moostang not on the list
|
I'd guess that dudes dying in Z's and Corvettes are doing some real dumb ****. But yeah, small cars are simply not very safe when everyone is driving around in a tank now.
|
The Z is a car that is affordable (once used) and offers a good amount of power at the price point. To boot, it is rear wheel drive and a lot of young guns and first timers do not know how to handle the combination of power and RWD, hence death.
|
The mustang didn't make the list because it doesn't kill occupants... only bystanders :eekdance:
|
The denominator is per billion miles... our #s will be higher when you consider not a lot of Zs out there and most arent driven for half a year. Be more interested to see Z-talities / total # of Zs on the road

so true, did you see the drivers trying to drift and plowing into crowds..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RDAS_WqHEY.....fast forward |
Some observations.
Sports cars = high speed/driver error.....most of the time. There's a Nissan, Chevy, & Kia in every category. Buy a Honda, Merc, BMW, or a Mazda (unless you are in Philly). iseecars.com is a small company. Data analytics may be different if truecar were to do it. Take it with a grain of salt. There's a Mustang on another list - scroll down. If you're in CA......don't buy a Vette. You are more likely going to crash or die. Data already reflect on insurance rates. i remember looking at Corvettes in CA. Rates were insane. Stay safe. |
Hardly any Fords or Dodges on list; as they mostly stay broke down & can’t roll up any miles :icon17:
|
I mean the article even said although a car was top iihs safety pick it still showed as #1 killed

And still, all of these cars are SO much safer than riding a motorcycle.
