IMO, a lot of big companies don’t really care about what the consumers want, because they will always have a market. It’s the “take it or leave it” attitude.

The type r has always been around, just not in the US officially until now, which btw is not made in Japan (the current US model).

ALL of the top tier executives at Nissan should commit harakiri! That is at least the only honorable deed left that these disgraced industry leaders can perform effectively.

I don't know what all the fuss is about. I like it. It is a great tribute to the classic Z cars. Way to go, Nissan!

I don't know if they switch to building them by demand, but I always see way more 350Z's than 370Z's especially in a big city like LA. It's extremely rare to see a 370Z even. Not many people bought the 370Z, so I would assume they don't produce a lot of them.

Hertz has more challenger rt and hellcat bumblebee hellhole than 370z

hopefully you can buy a 2020 without the "50th anniversary package".

True True and if you are just thinking of the North American market it's an even longer break from 97-02 model years.

This article was written over a year ago and yet speaks to how many of is feel about the 370z especially after seeing the level of effort Nissan put into the 50th. anniversary car.

AutoZone stickers.
Walmart wheels.
Maybe they'll have a Turbonator in a performance upgrade package.

BettyZ 04-17-2019 08:29 PM

Let's not be too hasty on the hate! My reputable source confirms that the performance upgrade package comes with the following GT-R parts:

The start button.
