B&W_Evader 03-19-2019 10:35 AM

Yes, all pleasant miles.
Never left me stranded.
Only issue has been the blown differential bushing. Not that big of a deal.

Reminds me of a license plate I saw on a Porsche
NOTIC8S

Knock on wood... None so far.

The vq engine is a tank. Give it fresh oil regularly and it will kerp chuggin

Paint is holding up well. Keeping it washed and periodic wax does wonders.

Quicksilvers 04-08-2019 08:09 PM

Congratulations keep driving her thumbs up.

Ian B 04-09-2019 12:21 AM

I am at 107K miles on my 2010. Bought it last May with 97K. Loving it. Coworkers are jealous of my 370Z dd.

Nice! I’m just over halfway to that point, she’ll get there.

SPDKING 04-09-2019 11:07 AM

Wow! Congrats! I wanna see it hit 200k as well!

My buddy swears using filters with bigger dirt filtering capacity (28 grams?) and changing oil religiously just ahead of schedule is crucial from 150k onward. We'll see.

If you are changing your oil frequently (per manufacturer's schedule or more often), a larger filter shouldn't make any difference. You shouldn't be reaching the capacity for your "small" filter. But a bigger filter won't hurt, so, if it will fit, go for it.

Makes sense. He's no mechanic.

Zyonara91 05-20-2019 10:22 PM

Amazing. Knocking on wood for you!

You mind telling us what oil you use? Filter? Change intervals? How often have you changed your transmission fluid?

HEK 05-21-2019 06:40 AM

great to know that I too will be there one day as I was with my 1987 Civic Si at 250k and my 1981 Celica GT at 300K...go Z :driving:

mults 05-21-2019 08:31 AM

At the rate that I drive the Z, I should hit the 100,000 mile mark about 2033 :)

I have a 2013 and have under 47k...let me do the math :driving:

ayrton88 05-21-2019 04:59 PM

I have a 2010 with 42K. I have a winter car so here in Chicago I use the Z about 2 weeks a year.

wow, I drive my Z all year around even in the snow and you guys get more than we do in MA, but then again I have a relative in Chicago who drives a garbage truck and plows in the Winter to keep the roads clear and makes over 120k a year ....:driving:, you have clean roads most of the time :happydance:

It's not the snow and ice. We keep them stored because of the salt.

Good thinking, I'm 60 and don't expect to live to be 100. I love the Z and will drive it until it gets stolen, rots out or just stops running but I will be driving it all year round as the vehicles I've owned were never bought as collectibles but as machines that made served their purpose while I owned them and the Z is my dream car, a 2 seater that is fast and so far knock on wood has been reliable. Everything has a beginning and an end. :driving:

You got me by 18 years, I'm hoping this is still in the garage when I'm 60. It might need a few transplants on the way but I plan on keeping it ticking

I was being sarcastic about our horrible weather. Geez, I was still wearing a winter coat yesterday. It sucks living here...Arizona is in my future. I hope to never see snow again. The only good thing here is the Cubs. I do drive the Z some in the winter when the roads are dry.
