Best way to go about shipping price?

Before I post anything I get the part wrapped. I then measure and weigh. After that you pick your shipper and just run the numbers using the interested parties zip code.

You can get pretty accurate estimates from various shipping companies online using the dimensions and weight of your package. I usually get a quote and then just round up a few bucks to cover any possible discrepancies. For larger items, it might be worth taking a trip to the store to make sure the quote is accurate.

Websites for USPS, UPS and FedEx have sections to allow for exact quote, both in custom dimensions (using your own box) or using their standard rate boxes. Know the weight and box dimensions, and you’ll get an accurate quote.
