Class Action for Nissan for Air Bag sensors

I have a 2009 Touring/ Sport and the passenger seat it trowing a code for the sensor. You have to replace the entire seat cushion for $3500 but Nissan does not make the part for my 370Z with 36,000 miles on it!
Any other members having my issue?
Thanks in advance I love my "Z" almost all the time maybe not so much today.:roflpuke2:

Are you asking if there's a class action? Or is there one?

Often things with faulty airbags are covered no matter the warranty.

Only lawyers make out in class action lawsuits.

Calling BS on Stealership ..........

Get a passenger seat from a wrecking yard. 4 bolts and an electrical harness connector to disconnect/reconnect to save you from a world of butt-hurt.

For US$3500, I'll fly from Australia to San Antonio TX, find a replacement seat in reasonable condition and swap in/out for you !!!! And I'll still be in front.

buy a used seat on Ebay from a newest Z possible for $400? or a seat frame from '16 for $82?

A whole brand new seat cushion costs 1500 with all the sensors. I think they are trying to scam you.

I'm surprised they would even think of doing such a thing!

I have the same issue. I thought I saw somebody jumper out the airbag sensor circuit somewhere. I have not had time to look at it myself.

I have also heard that one can purchase a seat bypass on EB*Y for like 80 bucks and now the airbag is on constantly so don't ride kiddies in the Z.
