Left at 5:15 am and got to where I'm staying in Maryville @ 3:15 with about a hour and a half down time :driving: meeting up with JC in the morning for a little hang time and what ever the day shall bring

Where the roads were decent the ride was great :tup: but you mix in poor roads and tractor trailer trucks then the driving got interesting :eek:

Gentlemen, I am sad (yet happy) to announce that Susan and I will not be making it this year. Between the 15 hr drive and massive time constraints with work looming, it was a last minute decision to cancel. I apologize. Hopefully next year things will open up and ill have a more forgiving schedule to make the fun drive and experience this damn festivity. But until then, I wish you all a safe drive and have a fun time!

Took a lot of thought off my mind on rushing schedules to get to Fontana and especially racing to get back home for work on monday. I plan to take Friday off and get inspections done, work on some stuff, and just relax. I'm sure we can do a meetup later this season somewhere

Slow cruise around the Telico loop this morning. Taking both cars so speed will be keep in check by the Mrs. in the G. Leaving the gap at about 8, running the dragon then going all the way up the Parkway and back before looping back in on the Cherohala.

There will be a bunch of stops on the new section of the Parkway for photo ops. Anyone is welcome to join in.

The years click off quicker the older you get; gotta make early plans & stick with them,,,though some things do come up that takes precedence :ugh2:

With the overall Z crowd getting older, I had heard they were going to have a healthcare display set up this year.

You know, a tent set up with free blood pressure checks and prostrate exams and such...

Have they started that yet?
