There are plenty of people that will take you for a ride  :driving:

Last year I made my car reservation at the last minute (like literally 11 hours before I arrived in ATL). Hertz gave me a Dodge Challenger with a Hemi for the price of an Altima. It was a boat in the curves :rofl2:

This year I noticed Hertz has an option for a C63 AMG. Using some points and a discount code it looks like I could get it for close to $100 per day :D

Too bad it is still looking like I won't make it this year :( :(

One problem for me may be not actually knowing who is who from this forum as I’ve never really met anyone here in person...

Anyhow, here is a fairly recent picture of me so you guys can recognize me if you see me...

Code words for meeting people. "bacon, bacon, who's got the bacon."

:rofl2:

No. My front is already chipped up from doing track days. When we get there. I'll wash it.

A lot of people use the painter tape.

Always wondered that myself. Thought it was a dice roll at best that it didn't cause more harm than what damage you may or may not get along the way. To me, a rock chip or 2 is much better than peeling clear coat off. Plus, like Rusty said, mine already has a couple of chips, but meh...I basically DD it, so it's a part of life.

ColtronZ 05-08-2019 10:57 AM

Yeah I DD mine and have a few but wasn't sure it would be worth the effort.
