Now we have people who do not like the headlites & taillites(2009), they want to wait for the 2010, to see the changes(if any,I doubt it)!

The reason the 2008's are sitting on lots is mostly due to the economy. And don't count on Nissan changing the headlights or tailights for 2010.

You won't have any problems getting a 370Z when you are ready to pull the trigger. And the others are right that you shouldn't be paying anything over MSRP. All car manuafactures are cutting back production. With the world economy in the toilet there is a huge market correction taking place with new car manufacturing. I am sure Nissan took a proactive stance with their production numbers with the new Z already.

I completely agree with ya!
That's why most dealerships are working with each other with trades.
Kinda sucks though...
I won't know if they test drove in my car if I go buy.
Dealerships always ******* lie...
I hope they see this and learn.
Imma eat you stealerships!

Dealerships definitely work with each other on trades. Out of all the cars I've bought, with the exception of an Evo 8, the particular dealership I went to didn't have it so they had to trade in one of their cars for the one I want with another dealership.

I guess I'll play the waiting game for now and go back into hibernation until summer. :D Lol.

That's a very smart choice my friend.
I'm tired of hibernating but knowing the shithole state I live in, 2 more months probably... :owned:

2007 and 2008's were not as popular as the 2003 thru 2006 years!
From January 2008, until late October 2008, the economy was fine, until Wall Street took a ****! The one thing that stopped the 08 from selling was a "new body design was coming"!

Agreed. Any time there is a hype about new body style, people want to wait and see the new model. This is why most automaker always make the last model year "special edition" to move it faster or sell to enthusiasts.

The economy was not fine before Oct 2008. If you think that then you are lying to yourself.
There is a little truth to what you are saying about people waiting on the new model but the main reason is the economy. Car sales are terrible and have been for quite while. And it goes back further than Oct 2008.
I can hand pic several local dealerships that have 370Z's sitting in their showrooms. Some have had them for more than 2 weeks now. If it was because people were waiting on the new model then why is there not a rush to purchase the new product?

I moved from Pittsburgh to Erie, PA recently. In Pittsburgh, generally the Nissan dealerships are a nightmare. You'd think it was LA. Erie on the other hand - while an arctic wasteland for half the year - can get you great deals on sports cars!

The Nissan dealer here still has a mint, brand new 07 Nismo 350Z they can't sell! They've been boned by deadbeat ebayers repeatedly but still... Erie market is Great for a sports car shopper. Just need to watch I don't get a dealer swapped car that was beat on or otherwise miled-up..
