High mileage Z

Just turned 88 thousand miles on my '13, 6-speed stick

The car is used for long-distance vacation trips almost exclusively, been across the country and Canada many, many times.

Original clutch, water pump, battery and alternator still going strong. Absolutely no problems or hiccups.

The only "mod" I've made is to completely remove the clutch "helper" springs at the pivot point of the pedal. Did this within one week of buying the car brand new, as it was seriously screwing up the smoothness aspect of driving, and I could tell that if I left it stock, it would soon destroy the clutch.

Nice! Surprised you still have the same battery. Rock on!

I have a 13' also and still have the factory battery with 73k.

I have a 2010 and finally replaced my battery last year. It was still good but decided I didn't want it to die all at once on me. But, I only have 35,000 miles on my "Z"

I did exactly the same thing. Battery was still strong on a 2010, but I didn't want to be stranded in 10 below weather. I have 44K on mine.
