Greatly appreciative owner moving on
Guys, I sold my '13 Z Touring/Sport 6M with a scant 5020 on the odometer. I enjoyed everything about this car and kept it 100% stock. My need for torque had me order a 2019 Camaro ZL1, Should arrive at the dealership next week. If I had the room, I'd keep the Nissan but I don't. Thank you guys for great information and a pretty cool group of dudes who own a niche car.

Make sure to post up some pictures of the new ride!!!

Thats totally understandable & you're still welcomed here regardless of what drive.
Good luck with the new whip :driving: |
:iagree:
Also... :worthless: |
I read that as: "I have enough money to sell my new Z, and to buy a ZL1 instead".
have fun |
I've seen many others say "moving on" or "goodbye" but to me I feel it's more of a change. Moving on is means leaving bad things behind lol. I've been a member before I bought my Z and think I will be dropping by the forum even if I sold my Z.
Good luck and post pics of your new ride. |
Agreed. Sounds like he wants to keep the Z but logistically cannot. The ZL1 is going to be a different experience, and it sounds like that is priority at the moment. It's a pretty phenomenal car, so who can blame him?

I sold my Z four years ago but still come here semi-regularly to check for updates on a new Z. If there's no news in a couple years I'm going to have to get me one of those '15+ Nismo Z's!
...edit: *Assuming I can fit in the seat...lol* |
Congrats on ur purchase yea dat ZL1 is a beast me my Z is my first love she took my virginity of speed.

I can say that if I get a little more storage room, I'd love a 280z. regardless, I'll always be on this forum. Such a great car and and there's a lot of smart dudes here. And ultimately, I love cars. I'm not loyal to any brand and just try and drive one that suits me at the current time. I'm only a 2-car guy and in upstate NY, one is a 4wd SUV. I may tire of the Chevy some day and wander into something else. I do already miss the 370z. Made me smile every time I drove it. Awesome car.

Good luck to you and enjoy that '19 ZL1.

Marty, love the new ride. Hope you have a lot of fun with it. Very Nice.

Oh yeah, that’s nice.

I sold my Z a year and 4 months ago for a Camaro 2ss with an aftermarket 1le suspension. I adore and miss my Z but the radical handling for its size is an anomaly. The Camaro handling is rididulousbwith a viscious amount of power and torque to match.
I've also strongly considered just going up to the ZL1. I'd love for you to stay and update us on the OTHER VEHICLES section. I'm mostly their now because news for the Z is stagnant. If I can help in the GD section I do. The supra is kinda holding me back from jumping in a ZL1 and also. I'm afraid I'll get a ZL1 and then the Z concept will drop out of left blue. Remember. We were announced the 350z would be a 370z in June 2008. We saw the 370z in October 2008 and the 370z was being sold by Feb 2009. It was that fast. Right before calling it a 370z. They showed us a smaller lighter 350z and played that game with us... Now they have that 370z with the red sport engine concept. It's giving me hope of something to come. But anyway. You're ZL1 input may inspire me to stick with the Camaro. I can't imagine another 190hp and torque on top of the torque I have now that has given my passengers whiplash. :rofl2::driving: Big congrats to you!!! Geez.... The ZL1 makes my SS Look weak. Lmao!! |

I really like that color!!

On the flip side of this, someone else is gonna find a fine used 5k mile 5 year old car. I hope you got all the money out of the sale. She wasn't even broken in.

I have to say due to my age, I too am moving on. Still have my "Z" but plan on selling it when the weather gets nice. Also, since the wife and I are both retired, we have made the decision to have only two cars. We don't need 3. We are keeping the wife's car (a Mazda CX-5) because of the Iowa winters. I have all ready bought a replacement and it meets the 3 requirements that I set when looking for a replacement. 1. Had to be able to drive it in winter. 2. Have an automatic trany so wife could drive it. 3. Fun to drive. After several months of research, ended up buying a 2019 KIA Stinger GT. It is a nice 4 door sports sedan. It is also easier for the wife to get in and out of. I plan on keeping in touch to see what is going on in the "Z" world. Everyone have a happy and safe holiday.

Love the ZL-1! I'd be all over that if I could afford!
You even got the right color too!!! |
This is disgusting. I can't stand how nice that ZL1 is.

I felt the same way but I made room for 370Z by moving my 97 WS6 to another garage
|
If I had the garage space I definitely would have kept my 370Z.
|
Had 2, bought a Raptor. Started looking at them again...
