Wanted: 370z NismoPrototype Part Fitment

Hey Guys,

We are in need of 370z Nismo for prototype parts fitment. This will only take a few hours and are willing to compensate with free performance parts.

Preferably with aftermarket long tube intake kit installed, but not a must have.

Located in Dayton, OH

Thanks!

'09-'14 or '15+? I'm up in Toledo and depending on scheduling could be interested.

Joe@DewlaDez 07-12-2018 11:14 PM

09-14 is just fine. I will have to check the later model as well. Schedule is extremely flexible on my end.

I'm south of Pittsburgh. That's only a few hours drive for me. I was just through there today. I have the Stillen long tube intake. I could be game.

Rusty,

Do you drive through often?

I was that way twice with the motorhome in the last 8 days. I use I70 most of the time when we go out west. You are about a 4 hour drive.

I don't think he wants to make a mod for your camel rider. LOL

Roger that!

I don't want to put you out if you are not heading this way anytime soon. I am sure there has to be someone closer that could swing by, but if you're up to it.. I am not opposed.

I have to check my work schedule. How soon you need this?

I just need to fit the new part on the Nismo variant to see if everything clears. Only takes about an hour or so, plus it is a good opportunity to clean your filters!

When are you looking to test? Are you looking for car to be dropped or can it be done while hanging around? I’m about 20 minutes south of you. I don’t have intakes as this car is mostly stock.

It seems that I have had a few other local guys inquire so far. I will keep everyone posted. I definitely appreciate everyone chipping in though.

On the bright side of things, we just released a new Cerakote finish on our shift knobs and man it looks awesome with the 370 interior.

It would be preferred to have the intake kit installed for the sake of checking clearances, yes.

Just confirmed that it will fit 09-14 Nismo models. I will have the next gen in this week to confirm those as well.

It does require removal of the two riveted panels that are attached to the crash bar/ upper core support. Just adds about 5 minutes to the install. From looking at them, it seems that these would have to be removed anyway to install gen3 style intakes regardless.

Will it fit with a 34 row oil cooler? I have the Z1 cooler and it's tall. My oil lines run across the top of the crash bar.

Rusty,

The V2 was made with the Z1 Setrab 34 row oil cooler kit installed. It will fit, but not with the lines located and ran the original way Z1 has in their installation manual, I have a PDF manual that addresses this issue and shows you how to reroute the lines. It is fairly simple.. You just have to take the lines behind the vertical core support bar opposed to in front of the bar and over the air filter.

There is a little V at the top of the vertical core support bar, the two lines just have to run behind that relief and in front of the condenser to clear. This particularly pertains to those who are running a 34 row oil cooler and an aftermarket radiator.

If need be, you can always call me and I can walk you through it in a few minutes.

Let me know if you have anymore questions.
