WTF! SES light mysteriously vanished!
So i've had an SES light on for the past thousand miles or so, throwing codes for an 02 issue, well I start my car up today and drove down the road a bit, went to turn off my traction control and noticed my new friend the Service Engine Soon light wasnt on... shocked the hell outta me, anyone else ever had this happen before? I havent reset the ECU, or done anything, i've never seen this happen unless someone cleared it with a code reader.. ideas?

If the problem goes away SES does rest on its own.

could have been some bad gas and it just now reset..mine did the same thing

bad gas... :stirthepot:

SES lights will turn off after a certain number of cycles, that's common. They stick for a bit even if the condition isn't present, but after a while it will go away. If the condition comes back, so will the light.
