Horse Power???

So the Z has 332Hp at the crank. How much horsepower is needed to be able to stomp on the gas at 25mph and get the wheels to break loose. Not shifting. Just using raw HP.

I'm trying to figure out how to stomp on the gas at 25 and get the wheels not to break loose.

Wrong question.

The real question is how much torque is required to break traction (provided tyres are not made from battery cases of course).

In what gear? You should be able to spin the tires going WOT at 25 mph in first gear bone stock. In 6th you'll need a JATO rocket.

Jayhovah 05-02-2018 09:09 AM

Mine would do it with 314whp & run the tach in 2nd-shift to 3rd & run the tach again,,,with 345/30/19's on 12" wide wheels.
