I believe that Michelin Pilots have a good treadwear warranty. Costco has good prices.

I normally go through 2 sets of rears to 1 set of fronts.

Hankook ev02 isn't the best performance tire, but there is likely something wrong with the suspension if only the rear tires go bald in a few thousand miles while the same brand front tires held up well.
The e46 M3's are known to eat up rear tires like yours when the rear trailing arm bushings go bad. Once that bushing cracked, it's unable to maintain the rear alignment in certain conditions and shred the rear tires in a few thousand miles. Quote:

The Firehawks are produced by Bridgestone. It's the best option in that group.

Felix, go personally verify the measurement of tread depth. Make sure there really is a problem before you throw money at new tires. Go get an alignment at a good local shop - not the dealership. See if that's the issue. Then you'll know what parts, if any, need to be replaced before you get new tires and shred them in 5k miles. There's no point in getting new tires until you know what happened to these, unless you want to be here in this same position in six months. |
So you identified your tread wear is quicker than normal...
Go to a shop and check your alignnent, toe, camber. Personally i think your camber and toe are out. Might need an aftermarket solution. For tires you mentioned i can say the indy500s are pretty good for the price. Im running them on my rears and they are ok. Nothing compared to re11s. As far as tread wear.. uh yea they are ok. I am heavy footed spirited driver so its just a wear and tear item. In my experience im running 1 set of fronts for 2 sets of rear... for the most part... except for crummy side wall punctures but thas another story. |
Notice what the tech wrote at bottom of sheet;
Outside tread 6/32” inside 3/32”,,,last service they may have only recorded outside tread depth.? Cars have about twice as much negative camber in the rear vs. front (from the factory) & if you’re spinning your tires on occasion- this is the wear you’re going to see. |
I've had mine for 2 years and around 8000 miles and they still look almost new. This includes a couple of track days and a 1/4 mile or two runs. I did have a 4-wheel alignment at the time of installation and they are wearing like iron.
These tires are so much better than the original Potenzas... |

I'll see its result and decide what to do as my next step. :D |

you should get at least 15k miles out of the rears. Even more because Hankooks are pretty hard compound. Theres no reason for them to wear that fast unless your camber and/or toe is out of alignment.
That or your burning out once a day. 99% chance its the car, not the tire |
As a result, I decided to give one more chance to Ventus V12 EVO2. Actually it is only one brand that now I can buy with Nissan's 'buy 3 tires and another 1 for $1' promotion.
This time, of course, I also get the wheel alignment when I get them installed. Just before I got a maintenance and there came out no specific problem which might affect to rear tires' rapid wear-out (just a battery changed). Currently I have yellow on front tires and red on rears, so I will keep the current front ones for later use. Interestingly, I see that the Ventus V12 EVO2 has way better rating in a Korean 370Z owner forum, including from one who once temporarily resided in California. He strongly recommended to keep using it. The Korean forum members also pointed that the rapid wear-out problem must have occurred from some other reason rather than its poor quality. Thanks everyone for useful information. And next time I'd better pay more attention to keep proper air pressure especially when the semester changes from Winter to Spring. I hope this time I would be okay for going with the Ventus. If I suffer from any problem again, then maybe I'll post it here to let you know. :D https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...a06c5aaad5.jpg |
I've been running the Firestone Indy 500's on my Z for a while now and I have zero complaints.

Post a pic your post alignment print out. It should show before/after values.
