0-60 ?

I understand that the Z does 5.0 in the 0-60 stock. Im considering adding a supercharger. Does anyone know what the 0-60 is with a supercharger?

It's not going to be significantly faster 0-60 if the tires are the same. Traction becomes a problem. Quarter mile time will drop, but you won't be able to go WOT until 3rd, so it's not a huge drop in 0-60.

Yeah... so... many variables influence that final number (especially the actual driver), however, my understanding of this mod's results will put you in the mid to low 4 range.

Expanding on that: Even stickier tires up till you can no longer spin in first, and a better LSD.

If using a sundial for timing. The Z is quick. :driving:

My best run so far has been a 4.6 0-60, no forced induction but I'm running on 275 sumitomo HTRZ IIs and it was recorded at a local drag strip so my grip off the line was insane.

I'll never understand you guys. You all own and love your Z's, but you constantly bash them about being "slow"... It makes zero sense to me.

Just for perspective...

2018 Corvette Stingray ($67k) - 6.2L V8 - 460hp/465ft lbs - 0-60 in 3.9 sec
2018 Mustang GT ($34k) - 5.0L V8 - 435hp/400ft lbs - 0-60 in 4.4 sec

2018 Nissan 370Z ($26k) - 3.7L V6 - 332hp/270ft lbs - 0-60 in 4.8 sec

And all of this can be narrowed down even closer by driver skill. I don't care what anyone says, these cars are NOT slow by any means, especially when you consider this is all being done with a 9 year old V6 against the latest and greatest V8's.

Z isn't slow, it's just Rusty is too fast. Plus, his reference is a Viper ACR. :yum:

You measuring a true 0-60 or with a rollout?
