Anyone in NYC with ‘15 Nismo bumper conversion?

Anyone from NYC with a full ‘15 Nismo front bumper conversion? When I check on Z1 or concept, it goes for pretty much over 2k but I saw a YouTube video where they were able to get it for 1.x from local dealership. Does anyone from within the boroughs have experience copping the kit from local dealership? If so, mind telling me how much it cost? Pretty much my main goal with my new z is to make it look even more prettier right now.

From nyc, but no, sorry, no knowledge of this. I doubt you are going to get any 'deal' from any nyc dealership.

If anything, some guy named Joe from Koeppel Nissan of Queens use to be active on this forum and cool with forum members. Might be worth a shot to find him and contact him.

Just figured I would say hi, welcome, and good luck with that. Plenty of other ways to make the Z moar pretti if that doesn't work =)

Thanks for the warm welcome bud. So hyped to get the beast ready to go for long drives when it gets warmer.

Not from NYC area but, I can tell you the most expensive part will be the Daytime Running Lights. This is why most who do the conversion end up with aftermarket ones. You can't beat the look of OEM in my opinion. The front fascia itself with the fender liners and undershroud should/could run less than $600, not including paint.

I do have the Evo-R DRL's, never installed.

I definitely agree with you, to me the OEM drl gives it a much more refined look than seeing the yellow LED chips on a black background, which makes the LED chips even more noticeable.
I see you installed the OEM on your Nismo bumper, is it a direct plug and plug when changing from stock to the Nismo DRL?

Yes, harnesses are exactly the same. The Evo-Rs would've had to be either wired into the harnesses or wired to a toggle.

Check out bochnissanparts.com , their prices may surprise you. They are in Connecticut I believe. Fast shipping and lowest OEM prices I have seen. I got my DRLs through them and the conversion kit through Z1, though Boch Nissan still had better prices I still purchased the bumper through Z1 to support a good company.
