370z Forum Compared to other Forums

I'm a newer member but old guy (60).Got my first car at 13.I have had a lot of cars; classic 50s Cadillacs,German,Corvettes, early 70s Chevy Muscle and Maseratis. The point of this is I have been on a lot of Forums over the years. So many of the Forums I have been on beat on the Nubs.Slow to give answers because the so called experts do not know. They will punish someones car because it is not their taste.I have built a lot of cars over the years. This Z is so fun to F*** with. This is by far the best car forum.I have gotten quick answers to questions.Along with all the Tech Data I have picked up off of Forum.I just wanted to say that.
Check some the other forums and you will see all they do is argue.

F you, get out of here with your POS car. No one likes you, you were adopted.

madwi 01-26-2018 11:41 PM

:) :hello:

axmea? 01-26-2018 11:45 PM

Was a member here before I bought my car. Learned a lot about the Z from who now are many of my friends. Quite a few have left us though.

Enjoy your stay

I guess Zs' rarity must have bound us all stronger than other car forums do.

Welcome to the forum.I also came on as an older guy and been enjoying it so far. I manage to learn at least one new thing about my car everyday.I’m presently gainfully unemployed, but will work for money.:tiphat:

Rusty 01-27-2018 06:31 PM

Made a lot of friends on here.

Where the heck were you a couple of weeks ago? I was looking to meet up with with some Z folks in Honolulu. I'm guessing you don't frequent the Hawaii regional subforum.

JAR, I apologize for not getting back to you. You're correct, I don't visit the Hawaii subforum often as no one usually responds there. Plus I was out of town from the 18th through the 27th and not checking any car forums. If you ever come back to Oahu, PM me and I'll definitely buy you a drink, Aloha.

I agree on it being pretty chill, But again most of the troublemakers have been put to bed or moved on.

We're lucky for still having veteran (OG) members helping out whenever possible in a very respectful way.

I also see it's a lot more quiet than it used to be, But then again most everything been already asked in spades...

Welcome ! Like other forums, the chat has seemed to slow down some......new posts are rare, but that's probably cause the Z hasn't really changed much since '09.

P.S. ......The "weight reduction" thread in the INTERIOR / EXTERIOR section is AWESOME ! :hello:

I still crawl through the forum from time to time but most of my time is spent on the classiczcars forum as I am restoring a 280Z now.
Still enjoy the alcheng thread lol

Great tech. section here and everyone has been helpful from what I've seen.

I've been on car and other forums since 1998 so I'm pretty experienced. All but one forum for Mustang's is arguing as well as all but one for DSM's. Ducati forums are pretty good, GSXR bad, R1 very bad so I'd typically hang at the road race concentrated forums. Current HD V-Rod forum and boating forums are good as well. Facebook is where the latter seems to go downhill in a hurry.
