Well it has been great being here with all of you Z enthusiasts.
Today I made a trade for my dream car. A 2017 Dodge Hellcat challenger!
However I did have some form of depression for I did have a bond with the car. I wish like anything that I could have kept it ,but I still had a note on her and it would be financially impossible.
I just hope the next owner will take good care of it.
This new one is epic though ,it has all I want in a real muscle car. I wont be a stranger and I will still come in and see how my brothers and sisters are doing :)
Here are a couple of pics of my new toy:happydance:

HP with a warranty. Enjoy the new ride. And don't let that HP get away from you. :driving: I've been toying with the idea of a wide body HellCat track car. :driving:

The...the....the disrespect!

DamnThatZGuy 10-08-2017 11:36 PM

Hell of a lot more power, but it looks like a boat. A true "straight line hero" car.

God-Speed 10-09-2017 06:34 AM

Very nice. Enjoy the new car and make sure to keep in touch!!!

Nice looking ride...don't be a stranger and good luck with your new Hellcat!!!

Now you need to change your username to Louie Hellcat :)

370zBoyz 10-09-2017 07:47 AM

the hellcat doesn't come with drilled/slotted rotors...hmmm odd

I always like the challenger...I always said if they were to make a modern day horror film with a killer car like Christine the Challenger would be the perfect car to play the role

It does have slotted drill rotors, 15 in front and 13 1/2 rear.

Nice choice of muscle!
I'm surprised you didn't wait for the Demon.

Looked in to a Hellcat but local dealers wouldn't drop below MSRP and some want a premium, in addition to MSRP. It was over twice the price of a Touring Sport 370Z and well beyond my price point.

I recently leased a Charger HC. Hellcats drive pretty tame if you have right foot control, but Nitto 555R is the first mod you need. My impression is if Chrysler spent $100 more dollars, they could made the HC perfect...but they didn’t

Did you purchase or lease? From a local FL dealer?

Magic Bus 10-09-2017 06:56 PM

I can smell your burning rubber all the way here in Hawaii! Congrats & enjoy :driving:

have fun with your new toy.....
would say to drive it hard then harder, but that's a lot of HP....

Enjoy the HC. Almost nothing is faster on the street, almost.

Were you able to negotiate a great lease deal? I think they way over produced the HC units since 2016, especially the Challengers

I did the opposite. Went from a 730 hp '04 Cobra to the Z. In Florida the Cobra was useless, too much power, too little space. I'd be blowing the doors off "regular traffic" without even getting into boost, nevermind the 100 hit of N20.

The Z has plenty of power for me and much more fun the the Cobra as it handles like a go-kart in comparison. IMO, Z is the most fun I've had on 4 wheels.

That's my thought process: Corners > Power, and 90% of the time we're all stuck in traffic. The Z is cheap fun.

I'd crash that Hellcat!!!! I'm curious: How much slower is it really around a dynamic series of corners compared to just a stock Z with good tires?
