Sad..but have to say goodbye

Well, They totaled my Nismo on Monday, thanks to flood waters here in Houston...I thought I had saved her. I have enjoyed participating in this forum. Good luck to everyone.

Sorry about your car. I hope your recovery from the flood is going well otherwise.

You don't have to leave. I haven't had a 370Z in several years and I still stick around.

Sway 09-21-2017 07:18 AM

Damn man that sucks.... rip another nismo. I hope you can get something you’ll enjoy to replace it, good luck.

Fuzzzy 09-21-2017 11:06 AM

Sorry to hear that.

Good luck going forward.

Find another one. That is what I did. Found it in Indiana, it had been put away in a garage.

Insurer got payout for disaster like this.?

Btalont,

That's a hard one to take! Sorry!

I'd be sick if that happened to mine. Stay positive though. You're still alive, and given enough time, you and Houston will be back on your feet.

I hope that you and your family are healthy and well? Cars and other things can always be replaced, your family can't.

ramoszx12r 09-21-2017 08:03 PM

Sorry to her about your Z. You do not have to say goodbye, I think every one will love to still have you around.

Ventruck 09-21-2017 08:10 PM

Sucks to hear, especially because there's only so much you can control in the situation.

Sure enough, you likely have more important things to protect. Hope you recoup in due time.

Z-Girl 12 09-21-2017 09:03 PM

Sorry to hear!

Cars can be replaced. People can't. Glad you made it through that mess.

:iagree: Outside of life, everything else can be replaced. Best of luck with the rebuild.

Glad you're ok and able to write this message!

You don't have to leave, you can lurk like me.

I sold my Z last year and still stick around.

markesc 09-23-2017 09:02 PM

That blows.

Find another Z for cheap, if all these punks making "me too" youtube channels can afford them I'm sure you can get another. Or get one that someone already sank their life savings into.

Or, if you have money to blow, that 2017+ Audi TT RS will give comfort/sound/stupid launch ability/more room/and they reduced weight off the front so it's not an understeering pos from what the reviews say... on my list being a pnw native + I'm getting old.

Amén to that. Hopefully, the insurance can replace your vehicle? And you don't have to leave, there's 370z's out there for $13,000 in good condition and reasonable miles.

Maybe your money needs to go somewhere else due to this tragedy but, either way. You are and always will be a Z brother. The forum is here regardless. Your love for the Z still lives. Don't give up. You will recover, eventually.
