Stillen SC 370z vs 2014 Charger SRT

So I have a friend and I have been taking mad crap to him :happydance:

I have a stillen supercharger 370z tuned by Jon @Z1 thats got around 450whp
My buddy has the 2014 dodge charger SRT (470 BHP) thats got like 410-420whp

Just taking that into count, and also the 1,000lbs difference in weight, I am thinking I will roast his ***, I also have and use ARC.

Opinions??

If you know how to launch your Z, I'm betting my Z on your Z

2 step for dayzzz

Considering the SC fills the torque void on top of the power, I'd be leaning heavily on the Z as well, assuming the driver is right.

was 2014 the revamped generation of SRT's? I know stock Z's can sometimes stack up against older SRT's.

I have 15 SRT 392 with 8AT and 370z 6MT. The Z with CAI, LTH, CBE and tune, the charger is completely stock. Took both to road course, on the longest straight I reached 230 kph in the charger, 220 kph in the Z (while cautiously shifting to avoid any slipping due to fluid overheating).

So in case of SC, I think the Z will be a lot faster than a stock 14 charger. But at the strip your launch will play a factor.

Thanks for the info!! I have launch control though so I have no worries

plot twist: he's got NOS under the passenger seat.

He will win with the auto tranny. Unless you have DR and willing to dump the clutch at high rpm, your 60' most likely be crappy in the low 2s. By the time you catch him with the "extra power", the race is over already. The SRT runs mid 12s consistently, i dont think you can achieve that. Do a roll race, you would pull..

That's a "Buzzkill" response,,,but could be true if Z doesn't properly heat tires & go below 2 in 60'... mine has went 1.95 2x w/drop-in K&N's alone-result's were 13.1....but i also know that spinning & a 2.3-2.5'ish 60' will make you drop your head when you look at the slip.
Practice your launch!
Whom ever know's how to properly heat their tires & launch will win.
Practice/Practice/Practice

I was just being brutally honest. The OP came on here asking for advise and confirmation most likely he doesn't know his car well. You be surprised how many Z owners go FI and drive like a grandma to car shows for bragging rights.

A decent burnout is absolutly needed to warm up the tires, street or DR, or else no way under 2 sec 60'

Also remember to pull the brake fuse so you can actually do a burnout. Following my procedure for my bone stock Z, I was able to hit 12.9 on the quarter. And yes most likely i had tail wind as I couldn't replicate it for the next 50 passes lol

There isn't a crazy amount of TQ on a centrifugal setup. As long as he rolls into the throttle, it should be pretty easy to launch.
