The International Gran Turismo Academy is going to be holding a competition starting December 17th beginning with a time trial. As reported a few days ago, Polyphony Digital is going to be releasing an official Time Trial demo of their huge upcoming title Gran Turismo 5 on December 17th. The 20 fans who manage to achieve the best lap times on the upcoming demo will be eligible to race a race-tuned Nissan 370z on a racing track next year. From there, the fan who manages to perform the best with the Nissan 370z will be able to join the official Euro GT4 Cup to race against some of the top drivers in the world.

On the in-car video the speed was in km/h but the dash was in miles/h so the needle was off the chart most of the time. Silly.

The sound effects were awful, but I guess I'll try it at some point just because.

Im sitting on 1:45 tunned and 1:57 normal. Fark it's hard without a wheel!

I went a got the Logitech GT wheel just for this demo LOL

Well I am at a 1:41 tuned and like 1:50 stock. I'm going to play this ish until I win lol

i kinda gave up with out a wheel im not gonna turn out a better time then those with a wheel, i was sitting at like 1:50 for stock and 1:40 for tuned :/ with out the proper throttle control its very difficult
