Clash of Clans: 2017 Type R vs 2018 370Z vs 2018 STI

Not sure if this has been posted yet. Sorry if it already has been.

considering it was a base model, the old girl handled herself well

Would have been more fair to have used the Nismo for this review.

:iagree:

Or at least a Sport. That being said, everything about the Type-R has impressed me. Honda has a winner on their hands with that car.

Until you have to look at it. :rofl2:

I agreed. The Type-R's looks (and its price) are . . . wow, ouch

Such a fall from grace from the simplicity of the original. I still think it's timeless

The Civic is one ugly duckling. I don't think it will ever grow on me :barf:

Chuck33079 07-27-2017 01:52 PM

Will the new Type R be instantly stolen from your driveway like the old ones?

Agree - however it's putting up some impressive numbers - that's not subjective. I don't even like Hondas - N\A 4-cylinders never did it for me but I gotta give them credit with this one, even if it looks like it was designed by Jesse from F&F.

Exactly. Puts it right in price line with the other 2, and adds wider wheels/tires, better brakes, and limited slip, all 100% for sure performance enhancing equipment.

I found the review reading almost stupid.

Except it's one of the ugliest "ricer" cars I've ever seen. It's even worse in person. None of my car friends like it, at all.

Guess I bought my 2018 Z TSC a couple of weeks too soon.I mean, now I can't even get to the mall at 170 mph while pulling 1.02 g.And shame ! My 0-60 time getting to the mailbox just won't cut it anymore. I used to do that stuff every day!Maybe it's the spoiler size.........

Why didn't they include the Focus RS in the comparison.?

Because they only compared Japanese cars so they could pump the article full to samurai warrior crap.

I figured they were Honda fan boys and knew the Focus would embarass the Honda.

:iagree:

Nismo is a better looking car than both and I'd say better performer but they knew that tho. One look at the Type R and Nismo side by side and well :inoutroflpuke:
