Ignition won't shut off

Okay so I did some digging on the forum already and noticed this happens for a few reasons
I checked that the actual button works properly it does

I do only have the rear speed sensors in due to my voodoo angle kit not allowing speed sensors in the front worked speed sensors were fine for a long time after the install

The last time I drove the car the spedometer wasn't working so idk

I tried removing the rear speed sensors and still having same problem that keeps the key light on the dash

So the only other thing I've read it could be is the steering lock box and I must be lucky to have it fail in the open position but I'm currently spinning the steering wheel with no key and it's not locking

Not sure how to get the start button to turn the car off properly not sure which problem is causing what hoping someone informed can guid me through

Key light is on on dash ,speedo not working, steering wheeling not locking , car won't turn off by tapping the button I have to hold for 3 secs

Car is a track car in progress before I start getting all the hate just hoping someone knows this electrical system better than i

Okay so I just went ahead with cutting the brown wire to avoid any issues in the future but it wasn't locking anyways

Key light still on

I've also cleaned the speed sensors in the rear as they were filthy and even had metal shavings on them and plugged them back in gonna go for a drive and see if speedo works but key light is still on

Okay got an obd2 scanner and read the codes and it had 2 p0500 codes which I cleared and have not come back on yet once I cleared those I got a p1212 and a u1001 code any ideas how to get rid of these I keep clearing them but it's not removing the codes

I did order speed sensors hopefully they come this week

Like I said before this is a track car I have removed a lot of stuff but these codes came up in a moment I hadn't removed much not sure what's going on

Just plug the codes into any web search engine. Eg, https://duckduckgo.com/?q=u1001 . Sometimes helps to add +Nissan to search string. Eg, https://duckduckgo.com/?q=u1001+%2BNissan

I had a similar problem when I didn't shut the car off and killed the battery. The car would not shut off unless I held the button. Once the battery was fully charged, everything worked properly. So, re: the car not shutting off, put the battery on a charger, let it fully charge, then try again. Verify that you have 13.5 to 14.5 VDC at the battery (demonstrates that the alternator is working). The challenge with tearing stuff out to make a track car, you forget and kill something that allows the alternator to work properly....

Don't know if this is helpful or not, but I once removed the gauge cluster from the car to do some mods to it. It started to rain, so I re-hooked up the battery, (gauges still disconnected) , started the car, and drove it into the garage. Only then discovered the car would not shut off without the gauges plugged in.
Very strange.
