My mom has driven my car. She was the first to do so actually (other than myself). She was also the first to lock it up and activate the ABS, intentionally. She wanted to see what it could do. Also the first to get it over 100, lol. She knows how to drive, well, and can afford a new one if she messed it up, so I said screw it. She drove her 86 300ZX for months with her right arm broken; it was a 5 speed. :tiphat:

when I first got my RSX, I let my mom drive it. She stalled it 3 times in a row. Then after her littler drive around the block she pulled into my driveway but didn't take it out of gear and luckily stalled it before going into the garage door! Never again will I let a female touch the steering wheel of my cars.

that nismo is slammed!!! airbags?

haha on a serious note; sounds like poor driving IMO, not even sure what you mean by "popping the clutch @60mph" or how it would induce a crash?

Raquel Welch is 69.
My mother in law is 74 and drives a motorcycle.

I know. Asking if at 60 she looks like Raquel did at 60.

Hey Juan, something I'm hoping you can explain. You said your mom popped the clutch at 60mph. How exactly does one go about doing that? Popping the clutch is typically something you do when you're doing a hard launch or burnout from a standstill. i.e., depress the clutch pedal, put it into 1st gear, hold the revs at around 4k rpm, then literally just pop clutch in while you mash down on the accelerator. I'm having trouble envisioning how one does that when they're already moving at 60mph. Can you enlighten me?

well thats what my friend said..i dont know if he is right.. well what she told me was she had it in 5th gear 60 mph..then when she tried to put it in neutral when she hit the brake she put it into second...so yea...:shakes head: idk if popped the clutch was a good term or not.. anyways it cost like i belive 16 k to fix..but the car is worth 40 k..i really tought it was totaled i guess not...
