Time spent at destination + 7 different stops (4.0 hrs.) Seat time 14.5 hrs....definitely helped to have seat lowered & not have that 3rd pedal on the left. Z handled & ride quality was very good, over the almost 1,000 mi. Trip. Realized that maybe our roads in SC aren’t that chitty after all. Had to meet up with a friend & perform a trade/swap. I got my “Black-Friday” gift early. 25.1mpg average while rotating 27” 285,345’s...much more drag than the base 18’s w/245,275’s Slept around 6.5-7hrs. & not feeling any soreness from the trip,,, 1 more thing....These leather touring seat warmers sure feel good in the cold. |

Driving Hellbender and the Tail of the Dragon last week confirmed that it was time for new tires, so I stayed with 265/35/19 and 305/30/19, but swapped from S-04s to PSSs. The Michelins are wider than the Bridgestones; especially the rears. I haven't had the chance to really try them out, but from the little driving I've done, I love 'em.

Added some ports to my armrest cubby - USB/AUX for my pioneer headunit, USB for my ALP "parking sensors" to make firmware updates easier.
Few more pictures (including some in-progress) here: http://www.the370z.com/audio-video/1...est-cubby.html http://www.the370z.com/members/jayho...3-finished.jpg Will need to add some extensions to the back of the headunit and ALP brain before I can reinstall... Also want to add a mute button and alert LED to one of my switch blanks for my new Uniden R3 radar detector while I am at it. Hopefully can spare a couple of hours here and there to get it finished up. |
