My love for the Z never died even know I didn't own one.

I purchased a 350Z, had it about a year but sold it because I didn't want to pay high payments knowing the 370Z was dropping in a couple years which afforded me the luxury of purchasing a 300ZX to drive around in for a couple years.

It was a true gem, 1995 300ZX with 35,000 original miles when I bought it, I planned to purchase a 370Z down the line (April was my target date) but when I found a good deal, I just pulled the trigger and on 11/12/09 the rest is history!

ps - my beautiful 300ZX will remain my avy, I thought about keeping her but it didn't make any sense...I will miss you darling!

Thats a beautiful ride! I don't know if I would have been able to let it go. I'd love to find a nice 300ZX to own as a project car!

Wasn't a Z fan even though I liked the 300zx a little and I didn't care about the 350z at all. Once I saw the cover of R&T and Motor Trend and read the article I finally knew the car I was going to get. I was looking for a sports car for 2 yrs but nothing had the combination of performance and good looks. The 370z is a stunner and me behind the wheel is a match made in heaven.

thank you trust me, I woke up came to work and saw a deal on a 370Z so I did it, wasn't planned at all, had I planned the purchase chances are I would have thought a little harder.

If it wasn't for me having a half day the Friday I bought my car, I might not even own a 370Z yet, funny how things work out.

Yeah that is pretty funny but I'm sure the 370 will keep your mind off the 300. Either way their both great cars! I guess I'm just greedy because I'd want both, lol.

yeah I would def love to have a cover on it and just break it out in the summer but down the road, i'll buy another Z32 and just have it. It was amazing how many people in their 40/50's would come up and talk to me about my 300ZX, I guess they were the prime buyers when they were new so they have found memories, everyone had a 300ZX story for me. It was actually pretty cool but the 370Z def. turns heads.

I love that fact it's limited compared to the 350Z

My story is that I've always liked sports cars and the Z in particular. My uncle used to own a yellow 1970 240Z, I remember that I really loved that car and told him I would buy it if he ever sold it. Sadly, it caught fire and was a total loss sometime in the late 90's.

I really liked the 300ZX (like Areyouin729's - awesome looking car btw) but the SUV had killed the Japanese sports car by the time I was able to buy my first new car. I settled on buying a used Subaru Legacy, then the '02 Impreza WRX's came to the U.S. and I had my first new car. Nissan released the 350Z the following year and I figured that would be my next car. The Subaru was getting a little long in the tooth and the proposition of high mileage turbo car maintenance scared me a little, so I decided to replace it around 2007, I was going to buy an '07 or '08 350Z. Those plans got put on hold for a year as I relocated to California for work. Once I came back home, I saw the 370Z and was ready and bought mine in July.

i have a rather large truck, and it's a pain in the asss sometimes just runnin around in. i always loved the z and was going to drop the hammer on an 08 back in dec of last year. the salesmen that i had talked to told me of the 370 so i waited till jan. and ordered mine the day i saw the new model. so glad i waited:rock:. this is not an everyday driver maybe once or twice a week and i luv everything about it!!

My story started when i wanted to buy my own car. my dad bought me a jeep wrangler when i turned 16. (im 18 now) I wanted a car but really didnt like anything that was on the market. I looked at evo's, wrx's, and mustangs. then i saw a blue 370 at the dealership and i was sold. my dad cosigned on the loan and bit bat boom im in a z.

Well I had been driving a stage 2 '05 STi for about 4 years and was ready for a change. I wanted to get a true sports car, even though I could do anything with the STi: track days, autocross, towing my motorcycle, hauling stuff, etc. I also grew tired of not having any creature comforts.

I was really hoping to get a new Corvette Grand Sport but it was just outside my price range. So I started looking at everything else. I kept coming back to the 370Z as the best bang for the buck, not to mention it's gorgeous. Problem was, I had drove a 350 years back and wasn't impressed at all. I figured the 370 wasn't much better. I basically went to the dealership for a test drive thinking I wouldn't like it and that I could scratch it off the list.

Well I was pleasantly surprised. It was loads of fun to drive and I knew that it would be my next car. I've had one for a month now and couldn't be happier :)

I got my Z has a big "F-YOU" to my ex-fiance after we cancelled our wedding and broke up.

The good news? We're back together, with no wedding plans and I'm still driving a 2 seater, sports car. And...she loves it! We got her a SUV recently, so we should be ok once we do start a family. :)

Since I had made a couple of nice real estate deals this year and had some cash lying around, I started hunting for a sports car. I was set on a Cayman even though I don't really care much for the look. I also thought about a used 911.

Wife and I were at a Concours in September and she saw the 370Z. She said the rear end of the car reminded her of an old Hudson her father owned back in the 50's! :icon17: I figured 'whatthehell' and arranged for a test drive from the dealership. I must say I loved the look of the car...I think it is easily the sexiest car on the road short of some high-end exotics. Dealership owner gave me his daughter's demo for a one-hour test drive.

I beat the snot out of that car for an hour. (4500 miles on the odo, fully broken in). The rest is history. I still have not seen one other 370Z since September. Porsches are everywhere around here. This car turns heads, has people pointing and smiling and drooling. I love this car.

My ex and I used to fight over this all the time, she would tell me I didn't need a $400 car payment yet she was bent over backwards paying $375 a month on her 2007 Scion TC because she was so in the red on her previous Altima.

I refused to budge and told her I'm getting a 370Z whether she likes it or not, needless to say a year later I have a Z and no biotch girlfriend.

A big shout out to the hoe for breaking up with me on Christmas Eve last year, made walking into my families house that much more awesome last Xmas :rofl2:

I owned an 05 350Z. I was super stoked because it was going to be paid off in a few months, which meant I would be completely debt free! I was looking forward to the day where I could say I was debt free! But the 370 came out, and at first I didn't like it. But the more I looked at it (which was everyday at work and at home watching youtube videos and lurking on this site). Needless to say, I was torturing myself, and eventually...I cracked. I seriously hope, I'll be stronger when the next model comes out because I really want to buy a house or condo next...but I'm a sucker for cars.
