Got my letter today

Is this only for gas pumping issues? I have a recurring evap code ("very small leak") and I wonder if this might get me some free troubleshooting, as I have gone about as far as your average backyard mechanic can in chasing it.. A nissan tech I met suggested they had some sensitive pressure testing equipment they could use to try and determine the cause.

I got mine last week june 1 or 2. yeah, Nissan addresses this rare occurrence and probably quick cheap fix and ignore the more common and expensive csc issue. probably on purpose to look good. and I too would hate having to bring it to a dealer to fix.

Yep, or it could be a sneaky marketing move to increase service revenue for its dealers.

Yes, Mr Customer we fixed that evap issue, but upon further inspection we found the torsion capacitor leading to your engine in need of repair

I got one for my 2012 370z and one for my 2008 G35 Sedan

Never had issues on my Z, but every once in a while on my G, when the pump is filling as fast as it can, sometimes it shuts off early and I have to go only "one click up" on the pump handle to fill most of the way. It only happened once that it wouldn't let me pump more than 3/4 tank on my G.... so maybe it's a thing, but yeah probably pretty rare and intermittent when it happens.

Got mine some amount of weeks ago... sadly this has nothing to do with any of my issues with the car I think. haha.

I got the letter and noticed that recently, the pump shuts off before the tank is full every time. I called the dealer and said the CEL should pop up if this is the issue. They said they'd visually inspect it...which won't do anything.

Anyone know if this is true? I guess it could also be my gauge not being correct.

I actually do not think the CEL would come on for this... but I certainly could be wrong.
