Exhaust struggles**Need suggestions

So I've owned my Nismo for about 3 months and after months of research I decided to go with Motordyne ART pipes. 2 weeks after ordering them through Z1 I was notified that they are on back order until late June. Now I'm just itching to replace the stock cats with something to open up the VQ! What are your guys' preference when it comes to the best resonated test pipes? I want the best sounding and best performance.

ART are pretty much the best you can go with. I would wait until they arrive. Doing the install twice in a couple months is going to be annoying.

Well I was considering just getting a refund and buying something else. 650 is a lot to spend to wait another month on top of what I already have

This. Waiting a month is not really that big of a deal in the scheme of things.

Agreed, but from what I've seen build quality, and performance/sound, you can't go wrong with them if you have the money for it.

Speaking as someone that ended up with too much drone and hiss from using cheap TPs, I would wait.

Also to consider, are you doing the install yourself?

Be patient. People wait 3 months for an F.I. exhaust and that is the normal lead time. Why do the work x2?

Yes doing the install myself. Seems pretty straightforward. Anything to look for besides spraying the hell out of it with lube a couple days before?

Just having my wait time change for 2 weeks to nearly 2 months is what's discouraging me but you guys are right. I might as well wait and get what I wanted in the first place

We used an impact gun, a 3ft extension, and a breaker bar, then a stripped nut remover. Good luck

This is all too funny... I got my Nismo 2017 last October, I got a used amuse which was meant for a regular Z (didn't realize there was a difference)... I then ordered an amuse for the Nismo (with one off GTR tips) which took 5 months to get and got in and had the regular tips to now wait another 2+months (only a couple weeks now) to get the original exhaust I wanted... so yeah like 10 months,

Be patient young jedi, I have been and I'm not a patient person.
