2010 Unspoken 370Z Changes

In addition to the changes to the 370Z for 2010 made known in all the literature (heated outside mirrors, etc.) I noticed from a close examination of the Nissan ad that the remote key fob has a prestigious Z at the top. The '09 only has the Nissan hamburger. Very nice touch. I wonder if I'm missing anything else...

Lighted Ash Cup (!) and hideous LED array for the front plate location. :shakes head:

Check Nissanusa.com they are updated.

Ya wtf those lights look pretty bizarre.

370Zsteve 12-11-2009 09:55 AM

And there is a new fob with a Z instead of the hamburger.

KEVTEX 12-11-2009 08:15 PM

I see Nissan has a seat belt extender available. If you were big enough to need a seat belt extender, would you even be able to fit in a 370z?

DooDooBrown 12-11-2009 09:11 PM

Hahahaha!!! Oh WOW!!! Damn dude, nothing gets by you!

Does your 2010, look like this, by the spare tire?

Nismo and base models don't come with the rear cargo cover. That's still the same, but I confirmed today that '09 Nismo's did not come with the paneling to install the rear cargo cover that comes on the touring. My 2010 Nismo has the panels with the anchors and hooks already, just need the rollout cargo cover.

Have to see those daytime lights on a real car to make a final decision. Could be either super cool or super gay.

do you mean lighted ash tray? I noticed that I thankfully cannot find an ash tray in my car, as I am not a smoker. Good riddance.

I kind of like them. You can't beat Audi's integrated design ones though.

FuszNissan 12-12-2009 02:30 PM

Those look to be the day time running lights they made for the GTR for the Z as well

I think the other thread mentioned a driver side passenger seat adjustment.

This is the standard fob in the Japanese Fairlady Z (Nissan 370Z). I don't know why it's an option here in the states. They should just give it to us.

:iagree:

Also, Nismo brake pads now available as optional equipment (port installed, I'd assume) for an extra $580-ouch.

I feel exactly the same way ............ now if the top section with the "Z" was a separate item, and no electronics were attached, just a cover.... but I haven't even had mine open to check.

NYBladeZ 12-13-2009 10:08 PM

I'm not feeling those wheels the sp rays and the nismo wheels are the best imo

:iagree: but still not sure what I think of the concept. It slightly reeks of rice and kind of lowers the class of the Z somewhat. I can see coloured LED's being fitted aftermarket which will just be embarrassing.

AK370Z 12-14-2009 03:48 AM

Saw a Porsche 911 Turbo today and I thought of something. Does anyone see the similarity?

The Porsches look somewhat integrated/styled ......... the Z's looked tacked on. Just my opinion. :tiphat:

I was over at the Official Nissan site this morning and decided to use the website's competitor comparison tool to compare the a 2009 Touring 370z Coupe with the 2010 version.

Strangley it noted that "cooled seats" are a standard feature of the 2010 coupe model over the 2009. I double checked that I'd not accidentatlly chosen the Roadster.

I figure it's a typo, but anyone seen the 2010 coupe to verify that the heated seats are the same as the 2009 version?

That is a late addition, by a some guy in a cubicle, trying for that last ditch effort at a raise.

horrible effort.

Your FIRED ! :wtf2:

vipor 12-21-2009 12:03 PM

those Porsche lights are blinkers i think. not DRLs

Osiris 12-21-2009 01:41 PM

Has anyone thought of integrating LED's into the fangs? I've been thinking of this and was wondering how it would look. It might go pretty well with the LED headlight mod. Can someone good with photoshop (maybe Eric) slap some LED's on the fangs to see how it looks?

Just so i'm clear, the idea is that the LED's would be installed along the vertical slant of the fangs internally.

ArtVandaleigh 12-21-2009 01:42 PM

Has someone tried the 2010 cabin air filter install on a 2009?

KEVTEX 12-22-2009 02:04 PM

My 2010 base coupe came with the Z on the key.
