Looks like a Z to me.

ScottM 04-27-2017 06:09 AM

Well it has aftermarket exhaust and rims which is a worth a bit. Lowered as well. Sounds like a good deal if you don't mind automatic. I personally like them but some haters think you need manual trans. Looks like its a decent deal

DYNAZOR 04-27-2017 06:36 AM

It's described as a "base coupe" but it looks like a touring model to me.

kenchan 04-27-2017 06:37 AM

seat looks torn ... side bolster

Step 1: Get out of car
Step 4: Don't rip bolster

Seems to have some upgrades not a stock base, as others noted. On par with what I paid given differences. Beat them up a bit on seats wear, makes sure nothing else has early wear.. What sales tax would you pay on an MD purchase?

wideglideleon 04-27-2017 05:27 PM

Looks like a sports touring to me 4 piston front Akebono brakes, rear and front spoiler leather heated seats.
Buying from a dealer let them know you have noticed the suspension is not stock that its lowered and might have other non factory changes also, like intake etc.
Modified cars are a bargaining benefit when dealing with a dealership.

yaoxiao4 04-27-2017 05:45 PM

probably not a touring because it doesn't have the stock nav system

kenchan 04-27-2017 05:57 PM

dose seats look horrible too... dey put armorall on dem? :ugh2:

wideglideleon 04-27-2017 06:15 PM

I have a sport touring and no Navigation. From what I understand only the touring has heated leather seats!

kenchan 04-27-2017 06:19 PM

yah, back in da early days nav was an option even for the touring, i believe.

factory navs suck anyway, aftermarket HU with carplay/android auto is da way to go.

Redglare 04-27-2017 08:38 PM

good price, only downside is automatic - if its what you want looks like a good deal that auto in this car is a healthy unit and still fun to drive, just not as fun as a manual, already got a nice HU installed, definitely a sport touring trim, mileage fairly low.

The issue with Automatics is if you are getting gtr performance its understandable since it has to change blows with the giants, in a 370 where the primary purpose is driving pleasure a manual is the more logical choice.

I'd go in there ready to buy @ 22, but lowball as much as you think is a fair price, doubt it will sit around for long on the lot.

NRGz 04-27-2017 10:45 PM

Thats a decent price coming from the dealer! If it was where i am, that price would probably be from the streets minus the pricetag they put on it because of the aftermarket .
If it was me, i would poke at some things and throw a lowball 20. I would pay the 22 but lower is always better.

Can confirm. I have touring without the navigation pack. But I'm also in Canada and we have to spec everything

Called in this morning about it, they said it's still for sale. Drove down a few hours later, about 1 hour drive, and told it was sold around the early afternoon.

Salesman literary said I missed the sale by about 30 minutes.

Lesson learned! If you see a car you really like you best go out and get it fast.

B@stards! Next time call before you go and tell 'em you are driving down to see the car. Leave a 'made up' credit card number and tell 'em to hold the vehicle until you get there for an inspection and test drive.

Its ok man, another one will pop up - just keep searching.

I learned the same lesson the hard way, had a mint nismo with under 10k miles for a sick price (thousands less) - dealership was selling it as a base-sport, I test drove it and offered them another 1k less then asking, walked away- it sold a few hours after I left, still kicking myself.

lesson here; if you like it, and the price looks fair - go in ready to buy.
