Rattle Free !

Really really happy with how well built the 17 Nismo is.

Everything feels solid... especially in cabin.

Street driving, highway driving, bumps, music up high, etc...
No rattles or vibrating stuff whatsoever.

Very pleased.

From what I'm reading recently a lower rear 2 pt. brace and front lower 4 pt. brace help with rattles by sending more energy to the suspension. Just bought the 2 pt. for $50 shipped new, worth a try at that price. 10 minute install.

Let me know if you hear or feel a clicking in your RECARO seat. Specially the driver side.

Mine occurred almost immediately after about 100 miles or so. I took it up a winding road at 1500 km's (1000miles) and the noise (clicking) seemed to get worse with weight shift. It doesn't do it during daily driving.

It is on drivers, Left hand side, between thigh and bum.

There is an old TSB that came out in 2009, but that was for base model seats. The technician thinks it is a different seat frame.

They had a look anyway, and couldn't fid anything. At least this way, it's on the record.

thanks.

ZoomZ nothing yet ... only have 220 miles on her so far.

Recaros are rock solid.... they feel great & I feel like i'm attached to the car.

everything is solid.

even with the bass bumping there no rattles or vibrations.

ZoomZ 05-01-2017 11:12 AM

The Recaro is great. Just maintain the Alcantra (suade) and leather, and they'll keep nice for a long time.

They do bolt me down nice in the turns! :bowrofl:
