Uhh for auto you hold the brake in gear and slam the gas.... drop the neutral to drop your tran to the ground

I thought you need to hold the clutch at the friction point (clutch-point) during that 20-30s bouncing the limiter, in order to "warm-up" the clutch thus it can grip the tranny much better.

Actually the proper warm up is launch get to about 45mph (ideally 60+) then slam it into R

You get a good clunk. It'll keep you in position
