SRM upshifts question

So SRM will hold your revs at the appropriate speed to match the wheels when upshifting.

When on, are you supposed to get back on the accelerator and add a little gas when releasing the clutch like when normally driving with SRM off?

Or can you just release the clutch all the way and then get on the gas since the engine is at the appropriate speed?

It seems to be smooth when SRM is on and you release the clutch all the way before adding gas during upshifts.

I don't use SRM for upshifts but I do apply slight throttle enough to keep the flywheel's momentum to maintain a smooth shift. This is on any MT car though

Yeah I drive as you would like with any other MT car when sport mode is off, but when sport mode is on it seems unnecessary to add any extra throttle since sport mode holds it at the right rev for a few seconds.

SRM is on for both up and down shift.... unless you turn it on and off between down and up shift.
