Mystery Aftermarket Button
2 Attachment(s)
Hello all!!
I have just had my 2015 370Z Sport Tech for about 3 weeks now and I'm loving it!! But there is a mystery that I am hoping you guys can help me solve. It came with an obviously Aftermarket button between the traction control button and the key fob hole. The LED light blinks blue every so often. I have pushed it an nothing happens. Any ideas? Thanks!! |
Might be a throttle booster...changes response on throttle for faster WOT. Play around with it while you're parked and click the button and accelerate the gas pedal and see if it increases your RPMs any quicker as you click through it. I have one but it's a little bit different than that. What makes me think that is that it has the same three wires that mine does. Follow the wires and see if they go down to the accelerator pedal and then you'll know. Good luck

James Bond ejector seat? works on girlfriends and ex mother in laws.

Ask the dealer you bought it from?
My initial guess would be some sort of anti-theft device, but usually those are hidden under the steering column. It seems strange that it would be in plain sight. |
Maybe a foglight or drl switch?

I'd try cropping the pic so that just the logo is showing and then see if Google Search By Image can identify company.
Edit: The logo of something orbiting an orb suggests some type of satellite radio or GPS equipment to me. |
That looks like one brutal install job.

Easy to solve if you trace the wires and figure out what they go to

I'd think you'd want that to be hidden
