ask for tools. i say this because if she gets you something like a HU you'll probably end up needing to sell it down the road when you sell your car. kinda sad to sell something your wife got you.

tools (if high quality) will last a very long time.

Told my wife I want anal before I die. She said I could have it when we're really old. Told her I don't want to be anywhere near her butt when she's that age... :(

As for gifts, she won't support my car fetish either. So, who knows what she'll actually get me. She already told me I don't need a Porter Cable or HFCs. Looks like those will be my own gifts to myself!
