370z Keyfob (4 button replacement?)

I wasn't entirely sure where to put this honestly.

The 4 button Nissan remotes are about half the cost as the 370z 3 button remotes everywhere I look. This would only be an extra key for me in case I lose or damage my only key I have, I don't really care if the 4th button even works.

Does anyone know if replacement 4 button remotes work with the 370z?

I have a 2012 Sport.

The boot opener should be useless for the Z.

Actually I think it would be nice feature if it would work.

But would they work.....? (The three primary buttons) :D I assume they are the same frequency, and I am doubting Nissan would have different systems for every car they have. I just wanted to confirm before I bought one and spent $85 to program it lol.

Did you try asking the Nissan dealer? And only $85 to program? That seems pretty reasonable; I've heard of dealers charging $300

It would, but the BCM isn't programmed for it, and there's no popper motor.

new mod time!! :D

I wish the Z had a trunk button.

Is the trunk popper not electronic? For some reason I thought it was...

Local locksmith quoted me 85 to program the key. Dealership was 130 or so.
