gave her a bath in mid-40 weather. wasn't too bad once my hands were numb. :icon14:

didn't finish until after dark so i couldn't get decent exterior pics but i did snap a few of my first two mods.

works great and it looks like it belongs in that spot. the range is incredible on this thing. my wife's phone was inside the house but it still syncs from the garage. downloads my entire phone book and the voice recognition works flawlessly. if you have a base model, i highly recommend it.

eventually, i will re-install and sink it lower into the switch bay and craft an encasement to clean up the edges.

Nice, can I get some info on that bluetooth? I've been thinking about something like that..How is it hooked up?

it's the parrot ck3100 lcd. they have quite a few models but i like this one since it fits so well in the blank switch housing. the placement is perfect because your hand falls directly on it when you rest your arm on the armrest. i don't have to reach for it or even look at it to operate it while driving.

it connects to the radio and, with harness, will mute the radio when a call comes in. sound quality is good both directions. mic is mounted by the rear view mirror and it uses the radio's speakers. i also hardwired it to an acc lead so it powers up and down with the car.
